Submit to blue things Zine!

Submissions begin every alternate month on the 1st and end on the 20th.

Next Issue: February 2022

Submissions for the Blue Contest end on the 22nd of the month.

Email your submission to bluethingszine@gmail.com and make sure to attach your name, age, country of residence, and title (s) of pieces. Must be above the age of 13 to submit.

Response time is 1 week.

By submitting to Blue Things Zine, you are granting us the non-exclusive right to publish your work electronically and archive it perpetually, as long as the site remains online. Writers retain their copyright in all cases. If your work is subsequently reprinted elsewhere, please acknowledge Blue Things Zine as the site of first publication. Please note that we are unable to pay our contributors. 

Short stories, creative non-fiction pieces, flash fiction, etc. are all accepted. Word limit is 1500 words. Please attach the writing as a doc/docx file in your email.

All forms of poetry are accepted, with the maximum lines being 80. Please attach the writing as a doc/docx file in your email.

A high quality image in png/jpeg format must be attached in the email. Please specify if the photo is for the Blue Contest.

Artwork of any medium is accepted. Make sure image quality is high, and the image is of png/jpeg format. Please specify if the artwork is for the Blue Contest.

A maximum of 3 pieces over all genres may be submitted per month. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, as is work that has been published elsewhere (but please notify us.)

If your piece has been rejected/has changes requested, and you would like to make changes and resubmit, please make sure to label the subject of your email as RE: *title*
